Photos of Kiln 1, before, during  and after recent excavations at Draffen farm, Stewarton.

The Draffen and Kilns area is the only part of Stewarton Golf course which can be walked over today.

The photograph to the right shows the players on the 5th hole, “Quarry”.

The players teed off on the lime kilns side of the quarry, crossed a bridge over the quarry and played to a green in the direction of Little Cutstraw Farm.
